The PossE is a fresh, alive, alternative theater collective that reflects the realities of our world.
This multi-ethnic, multi-cultural ensemble will revive and introduce various works igniting discussions
about class, race, morality, and most important, humanity. As devoted members of the theater community,
we vow to support and encourage the dreams and talents of future generations. Through the establishment
and sponsorship of youth arts initiatives, we aim to spread our strong belief in the power and
possibility of theater.
Founded in 2005 by NYU Tisch School of the Arts Alumni, The PossE began as an IDEAL, manifested during a "Wouldn't it be great if..." stream of consciousness between friends. The goal was to create a theatrical family: a unified but motley crew of ambitious, determined artists dedicated to the evolvement of theater in New York City.
